Lip Sync Task - Week 2
1. Choose a song you know well.
2. In a group film yourselves singing along to the track. Make sure you get a variety of shot.
3. Import footage into Final Cut together with MP3 file of track.
4. Sync your footage with the track using the markers and waveforms in Final Cut.

Digipak Analysis - Week 3
Definition of Digipaks| Digipaks typically consist of a gatefold (book-style) paperboard or card stock outer binding, with one or more plastic trays capable of holding a CD or DVD attached to the inside.
For this activity choose a digipak of a similar genre which you wish to use for your promo package in September. You can find digipaks online or you can take a photograph of a digipak which you have at home. Ideally find the the front, back and inner sleeves for this activity.

Audience Profile - Week 4
Create an audience profile of a typical fan of your artist and genre. Be as descriptive as possible and use images. You could take pictures of people who represent your audience and present your ideas in a mind map/word document or Power Point as shown below.

Summer Progression Activities

Over the summer break you should be preparing for your Advanced Portfolio unit. Consider which genre you wish to work with and shortlist some tracks which you would like to use. Below are just some of the activities which you can complete to help with your preparations.
· Mind map early ideas for track selection and visual style (could use Wordle).
· ‘Collage’ style image or photo’s to represent chosen target audience.
· Logo ideas to represent record label.
· Screen test shots of possible actors/locations/costumes.
